Bloodlines

13 X 24 min drama series
“It has been said that ‘Dallas’ was not about oil and ‘Cheers’ not about running a pub. The same goes for Bloodlines : the story is not about racehorse stud farming.”

Bloodlines is an exciting new drama series that has been commissioned by SABC 3. The series is set to broadcast in the prime time slot of Wednesday 8:00pm in 2008.

It is the story of three apparently unrelated young people who by way of circumstance are brought before the daunting realization that they are half-siblings. This story of family and race in the new South Africa is set on the beautiful backdrop of Robertson and it’s tranquil but competitive stud farms.

Idol Pictures Facilities are the commissioned producers of the Bloodlines series. We are committed to producing a series that encapsulates a South African story with a glamorous international feel. This series is also open ended and will have long television life.
