Idol Pictures Facilities is an established production and post- production house in Muizenberg, Cape Town.  We specialise in broadcast documentaries, training and corporate videos and we have recently moved into the world of drama.  We have 14 years experience with the SABC and etv and have numerous awards under our belts.  And we are fully BEE compliant.

We have an experienced team of producers, production managers, researchers, editors, account and support staff as well as a fully equipped production office for use in local and international film and TV productions. We have excellent contact with script-writers, cast and crew. 

We have HDV, DVCAM and BETACAM SP facilities.  We have 3 camera rigs: 2 Sony Z1's, JVC 5000 - all with complete sound kits as well as edit facilities for all 3 formats. We have three offline edit suites and two online suites which are HDV and DVCAM compatible, as well as a betacam machine for mastering.
